Cover Reveal of Kalkin!

Image
Today we're revealing the cover of Kalkin. The first book in our new Apache County Shifters Series. TL and I are totally stoked about this cover.  It's a beaut. The picture was taken by the very talented Golden Gzermak and features professional athlete and model,  Stuart Reardon. We think Stuart embodies who we always thought Kalkin Raferty is and we feel extremely blessed to have such an amazing cover on our work. Kalkin currently has a tentative release date of January 9th, 2018. Pre-order links should be following soon. Without further ado, I bring you the cover of Kalkin. Kalkin Raferty, Alpha of the Raferty pack, and Sheriff of Window Rock, Ari zona, never believed he’d find his mate. He’s spent years protecting his family from outside forces, and when two women show up in town, Kalkin’s world is flipped upside down. Keeley Blueriver, is trying to hide, but not doing a very good job of it. After being viciously attacked, along with her sister Danielle,

#SixSentenceSunday - WIP Bearing It All.

Happy Sunday and welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday blog post.  I struggled this week on what work to use. I really wanted to use Kalkin, since TL have been so engrossed in his book this week with doing final proofs on it and getting the cover. It's so stinking awesome! I can't wait for everyone to see it! We'll be doing a cover reveal tomorrow. So check back here or on either of our Facebook pages to see it! In the end, though, I went with Bearing It All. It's the story of Bodhi Raftery and Emma Monte. Bodhi just happens to be Kalkin's nephew and the little imp makes his debut in Kalkin.  TL and I had an absolute ball writing this book. Emma has a love of all things the 80's. Especially music, which plays a big part in this book. Each chapter has one or more songs from the 80's which we felt matches the tone we were trying to relay.  These six sentences are from chapter two, and the song I felt worked best for the chapter was  Hungry Eyes by Eri

#SixSentenceSunday ~ Magic and Shadows Art of Deception

Image
Good morning everyone! Today I would like to share with you another excerpt from Art of Deception. TL and I are really jazzed about this release and we couldn't be happier about it. We have two more books to this serial, and we hope you enjoy the ride for this one in particular. So, without further ado, here is our #SixSentenceSunday “I’m working my way towards it,” Grainger answered honestly. “Though you should understand, we’re not willing to wait for you,” Abraham declared. Warren nodded in agreement. “So basically, I need to get there quicker, is what you’re saying.” “Pretty much,” Warren grunted. “I’m not into guys.” Warren chuckled. Abraham snickered. “We’re aware. Although you’ve never been around an Incubus. Things could change.” For right now, you can pre-order Magic and Shadows for only 99cents! Check out the links below and get your copy today. #SixSentenceSunday ~ Darkness Rises Sneak Peek at Mr. Tinnin...

Image
Good Morning! We're only a few days away from the release of Darkness Rises. TL and I can't wait for you to meet all of our characters and visit our world built for things that go bump in the night. Today, I wanted to share with you, another character from the story; Mr. Tinnin, or as he likes to go by, Dr. Jerome Brews. I hope you enjoy this excerpt. An edge of foreboding had the hairs on his nape standing at attention, pulling him from his revelry. Mr. Tinnin . He glanced over his shoulder, and caught the imposing shadow of the man. Jonah left the throng of people and followed the unhinged fellow. When Jonah rounded the cobblestone alley, there he stood, leaning against the building, cigar hanging out of the side of his mouth. “Mr. Tinnin,” he murmured, knowing the men could hear him. “What have you found?” “A body,” he answered. “And a zombie-machination, I captured.” He hitched a large thumb over his shoulder toward a waste pile. “Saved it for the doctor.”
