Six Sentence Sunday with On The Hunt.

Image
This week's Six Sentence Sunday is from our first Reverse Harem book, On The Hunt.  Julien, Theo, Heath, and Piper are able to go back in time to solve well-known cases. First up for our quartet is Jack the Ripper. TL and I had a blast coming up and then researching this well-known case and then putting our own spin on it with the evidence in front of us. Are we right in our theory? Maybe, maybe not, but it was a  blast working it out for our story. On The Hunt is published through After Glows, who is currently running a sale on Amazon for first in the series. This means you'll be able to purchase this title for .99 cents until December 1st! You can find the complete list  here. Below are my six sentences. “I didn’t think it was possible until last night. Watching you and Julian. Seeing him bring you to climax over and over again…something clicked for me.” She wrapped her arms around him and wouldn’t let go. “Me too. But, I felt like I was missing a piece.” Theo n

Cover Reveal of Kalkin!

Image
Today we're revealing the cover of Kalkin. The first book in our new Apache County Shifters Series. TL and I are totally stoked about this cover.  It's a beaut. The picture was taken by the very talented Golden Gzermak and features professional athlete and model,  Stuart Reardon. We think Stuart embodies who we always thought Kalkin Raferty is and we feel extremely blessed to have such an amazing cover on our work. Kalkin currently has a tentative release date of January 9th, 2018. Pre-order links should be following soon. Without further ado, I bring you the cover of Kalkin. Kalkin Raferty, Alpha of the Raferty pack, and Sheriff of Window Rock, Ari zona, never believed he’d find his mate. He’s spent years protecting his family from outside forces, and when two women show up in town, Kalkin’s world is flipped upside down. Keeley Blueriver, is trying to hide, but not doing a very good job of it. After being viciously attacked, along with her sister Danielle,

#SixSentenceSunday - WIP Bearing It All.

Image
Happy Sunday and welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday blog post.  I struggled this week on what work to use. I really wanted to use Kalkin, since TL have been so engrossed in his book this week with doing final proofs on it and getting the cover. It's so stinking awesome! I can't wait for everyone to see it! We'll be doing a cover reveal tomorrow. So check back here or on either of our Facebook pages to see it! In the end, though, I went with Bearing It All. It's the story of Bodhi Raftery and Emma Monte. Bodhi just happens to be Kalkin's nephew and the little imp makes his debut in Kalkin.  TL and I had an absolute ball writing this book. Emma has a love of all things the 80's. Especially music, which plays a big part in this book. Each chapter has one or more songs from the 80's which we felt matches the tone we were trying to relay.  These six sentences are from chapter two, and the song I felt worked best for the chapter was  Hungry Eyes by Eri

#SixSentenceSunday ~ Magic and Shadows Art of Deception

Image
Good morning everyone! Today I would like to share with you another excerpt from Art of Deception. TL and I are really jazzed about this release and we couldn't be happier about it. We have two more books to this serial, and we hope you enjoy the ride for this one in particular. So, without further ado, here is our #SixSentenceSunday “I’m working my way towards it,” Grainger answered honestly. “Though you should understand, we’re not willing to wait for you,” Abraham declared. Warren nodded in agreement. “So basically, I need to get there quicker, is what you’re saying.” “Pretty much,” Warren grunted. “I’m not into guys.” Warren chuckled. Abraham snickered. “We’re aware. Although you’ve never been around an Incubus. Things could change.” For right now, you can pre-order Magic and Shadows for only 99cents! Check out the links below and get your copy today. #SixSentenceSunday ~ Darkness Rises Sneak Peek at Mr. Tinnin...

Image
Good Morning! We're only a few days away from the release of Darkness Rises. TL and I can't wait for you to meet all of our characters and visit our world built for things that go bump in the night. Today, I wanted to share with you, another character from the story; Mr. Tinnin, or as he likes to go by, Dr. Jerome Brews. I hope you enjoy this excerpt. An edge of foreboding had the hairs on his nape standing at attention, pulling him from his revelry. Mr. Tinnin . He glanced over his shoulder, and caught the imposing shadow of the man. Jonah left the throng of people and followed the unhinged fellow. When Jonah rounded the cobblestone alley, there he stood, leaning against the building, cigar hanging out of the side of his mouth. “Mr. Tinnin,” he murmured, knowing the men could hear him. “What have you found?” “A body,” he answered. “And a zombie-machination, I captured.” He hitched a large thumb over his shoulder toward a waste pile. “Saved it for the doctor.”

#SixSentenceSunday with Kalkin.

This week #SixSentenceSunday is from Kalkin, our first book in our new series of Apache County Shifters. TL and I started this book a while ago. I think more than three years ago. We had the idea, outlined it and started writing. And then we just stopped, both agreeing something wasn't working. We moved on to writing our TSU series writing Unrequited Mate and Sorority Row.  Since TSU intertwines with ACS we loved adding the humor of older shifters from our ACS world, even though we had yet to finish a single book in the series. It gave us the spark we needed to get back to Kalkin. Which we did, with a vengeance. Kalkin is our biggest book to date at 103K words! TL and I loved writing Kalkin. Often we'd giggle together at the funny parts or tear up at the deeper family dynamics. Kalkin is currently in editing. We finished our first round just last night. It has a tentative release date for January 9th, 2018 with After Glows Publishing. TL and I like to joke we'r

#SixSentenceSunday from Darkness Rising from the London Calling Box Set

Image
This week's #SixSentence Sunday is from Darkness Rising available in the London Calling Box Set due to release October 17th, 2017. Initially, when TL came to me, telling me of her idea and asking me if I wanted to co-write the series with her, I almost told her no. It was way out of my comfort zone. Steampunk? Victorian? I knew next to nothing about Steampunk. As to Victorian, I cut my teeth reading Historical and Victorian romances before moving onto Contemporary years later. But this by no means made me qualified to write them! I can never tell TL no. (I think she knows it too!) She has a new idea. Let's go for it. A new plot twist. Let's do it, see where it leads us. Obviously, I didn't tell her no on this either, because I think it's good to go out of our comfort zones and experiment. And so we began writing it and to my surprise, I loved writing in this world, researching the terms and time period. Darkness Rising was just one of those books that worked.
