Currently, we're elbows deep into Caden at 45K words. We're thinking, Caden will be bigger than Kalkin, as his story is... complicated. And that's okay since we're both up to the challenge. We love these characters, this family and have been so involved in wanting to tell their stories for over six years.We're truly blessed to be able to do that. TL and I always had clear-cut pictures of who saw as embodying these characters. Kalkin and Caden were pretty easy since it was always Stu who we saw for them. Thankfully we were able to secure two photos of Stu Reardon. The other family members are famous people, so now TL and I are tasked with finding cover models who fit our image of who and what we saw. It ain't easy. We're slowly working on it and again we're up for the challenge. I've provided a photo collage TL made of how we see these characters. This week, I bring you six sentences from our newest series: Kalkin. TL and I have lived and breathed this family of characters for many years. Yesterday, we were finally able to type the end to our first book in our Apache County Shifters series.
