Six Sentence Sunday with Kalkin
They say things happen for a reason. I hope this is true!
In the middle of April, Kalkin, which had been released January 9th, was pulled from all book retailers because of a situation out of our control with our publisher. We asked and got our rights back on it. It was, one of the hardest decisions TL and I have ever made. It was, in my mind still selling well.
For the most part, TL and I have remained quiet as to why's and what's on why it happened. Simply stating it was a situation out of our control. And this is true. But see I don't think I'm going to do that anymore. TL and I did nothing wrong. We followed the rules and did everything our contract requested of us.
Here is the truth though, dear reader, we're not even sure if we will get paid. It's all up in the air, and without prompting, the publisher has yet to reach out to us. There are also a few other extenuating circumstances that puts us into an even tougher position. Ones that could affect all parties involved, which makes it harder for us.
To be honest, it's disheartening and stressful, especially since both of us trusted the person who owned the company. Can't say this is the case anymore.
Anyway...that's all the negative...Here are all the positives.
Within a week or two of getting our rights back, Twisted-E gave us a contract for Kalkin. They have been awesome to work with and now Kalkin is back up for pre-order and will release on June 13th.
After Kalkin released, our old publisher asked us to get Caden to her, even though we hadn't planned to start his book until September, because Kalkin was doing so well. We did that. We wrote 118K words in about 3 months. So Caden is done, and we've already turned it into Twisted-E. We have a September release date.
Since we had Kalkin back, we went through it again, edited and fixed things that slipped by, tightened up some areas. We also took advantage and added some clues or hints in from Caden. Not much, just a couple.
Also, we have two free short stories that will be available a week or two after Kalkin and Caden's release dates. It was our way of showing our thanks and each of the ACS stories will have these shorts to go with them. First up after Kalkin, Twins. As soon as we have links, we will let you know.
So now that I've gotten that off my chest, here are my Six Sentences:
Kalkin purchase Links.

“Ah, fuck yes. Keep going, Keeley, fuck me.” Her body moved over Kalkin, her snug pussy gripping him just right. She lifted her arms over her head, pulling her long, wavy blonde hair up away from her nape, and the scent of honeysuckle and sweet jasmine perfumed the air. Her breasts bounced and swayed each time she shifted on his cock. Above him, the full moon shone brightly, bathing his mate in a silvery glow.
“Kalkin, oh God. It feels so good,” she groaned, rolling her hips, taking him deeper. Kalkin purchase Links.
