Six Sentence Sunday with Bearing It All

Happy New Year! During the Holiday season, I took a small break from posting, but now with everything calming down, I am back!

My six sentences are coming from our upcoming release, Bearing It All, which is due to release March 15th, 2018. Pre-order price is .99 cents!

This book is another big step for us since we’re going to be self-publishing it. It’s a good thing because it gives us more control while allowing us to take the story in the direction we see them going.

Now to the book. We met Emma and Bodhi in Unrequited Mate and Sorority Row. But now it’s time to allow the sweet bear her turn to shine.

Emma carries a lot of responsibilities on her shoulders and has weight issues. Bodhi is a hot-shot football player, who absolutely adores everything about his mate, especially Emma’s curves.


Without further ado, here are my six sentences:

“Excuse me,” she called to the departing waitress. “I didn’t order this.”
“Sure didn’t, honey,” The older lady said. “He did for you.” She gestured to Bodhi.
“Hope you don't mind,” Bodhi said. “I asked Cassidy, who was most helpful, said you couldn't resist the wonder of chocolate and peanut butter mixture. So, I ordered you one.”

They say things happen for a reason. I hope this is true! In the middle of April, Kalkin, which had been released January 9th, was pulled from all book retailers because of a situation out of our control with our publisher. We asked and got our rights back on it. It was, one of the hardest decisions TL and I have ever made. It was, in my mind still selling well. It's been a crazy week. The indie world was set on its ear when a well-known writer decided to TM a word often used in Romance/Erotica. I refuse ...I mean I absolutely refuse to say the author's name. I simply refer to her as you know who or the one who shall not be named. I consider her Voldemort to be honest. It's just easier for me. I've been reading everything that's been posted, both sides. TL has also been keeping me in the loop when new stuff goes down and I'm not around. Listen, I understand wanting to TM your name, your series name. I get it. I  just don't get or like how it's been done. It smells of bullying and there just has to be a better way. There just has to be . And I believe, as in this is my opinion, it's going to end badly. There is not much I can do. Six Sentence Sunday with Rule Breaker

This week's #SixSentenceSunday is from Rule Breaker. The first book in our R.O.O.T series. It's an action-adventure Military Romance novel. We had a fun researching and writing this first book. We hope at some point this year to at least start writing the second book in the series. Our hero, Asher Rainer was a blast to write for the simple fact, he has no filter. He says whatever is currently floating around in his head. TL and I knew we'd done it right when our editor informed us she'd never read a character as blunt as Asher.
